Lolita Allen
Lolita Allen is the President of Divas Read 2 Book Club in Dallas and the Founder & Executive Director of Divas Read 2 Inc. which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote literacy by sponsoring educational and literary events.
Focused on her motto "Spreading The Love of Reading,” she has created a program for tween/teen girls D.O.D.D. (Divas of A Divine Destiny) that encourages academic success and personal development thru reading materials, workshops, and field trips.
Her accolades include Community Service Award, the Why My Book Club Is Important To Me Essay Award from the National Book Club Conference, and Book Industry Support Award from The National Black Book Festival. Divas Read 2 was featured in the Literary Life Magazine SURA.
Lolita has established herself as a Literary Influencer and Literary Event Planner.
